ANTENNA Group has been established as the world's largest Greek media group, reaching Greek-speaking audiences in all continents. In the last years, the Group has successfully implemented new great projects in the broader area of communication.
It all begun in 1988, when Minos X. Kyriakou, President of ANTENNA Group, established the radio station ANT1 FM 97,2 in Athens. From the very first year of its broadcast, it became one of the favorite radio stations among all audiences.

The success of ANT1 FM led to the next big step: ANT1 Television, the Group's corporate and communicative flagship, was founded the following year. ANT1 TV has been holding one of the leading places on viewers' ratings scales for 20 years.

Soon afterwards, Antenna expanded beyond the Greek borders and since 1993 it has been established as the radio and television station of three continents. With the creation of ANT1 SATELLITE and ANT1 PACIFIC, the voice and images of Greece as well as the pulse of Greek society's everyday life are transmitted to Europe, Australia and the Americas via a large satellite network covering the communicational needs of all Greeks living abroad.

ANTENNA Group's activities also extended to the digital area of unlimited possibilities. ANT1 GOLD, a digital channel, which daily broadcasts all-time favourite Greek shows and series through NOVA digital platform, has been met with great success in Greece, Cyprus and recently America. In 2006, ANT1 EUROPE followed, a Pay TV which brings all ANT1 programs to Greek households in European countries through the popular satellite Hotbird. Besides series, talk shoes and games, ANT1 EUROPE subscribers are able to watch live news. In addition, ANTENNA Group recently launched the music TV Channel BLUE for Greek audiences in the U.S.A.

Furthermore, ANT1 FM 97,5 radio station was founded in 1988 in Salonika and has since been offering quality entertainment and free expression about issues regarding Northern Greece and the Balkan area in general. ANTENNA Group also continues its successful collaborations with TV and radio stations in Greece and Cyprus. Among them, RYTHMOS 94,9 based in Athens, has become one of the most popular radio stations among young audiences. In Salonika, the Group collaborates with MAKEDONIA TV, the first national television station based in the city.

ANTENNA Group's presence is also marked in Cyprus, through its collaboration with the successful stations ANT1 TV CYPRUS and ANT1 FM CYPRUS in Nicosia, founded in 1993 and 1998 respectively.
ANTENNA Group also established itself in the Internet field. The Group's company ANTENNA INTERNET provided the public with three innovative services: "Tsak Bam Safe Surf", the only service for free access to the Internet, which offers real-time protection from dangerous websites, "123play", the easiest, fastest and cheapest music download service, and "Hello, a VoIP service which allows users to make international calls with local charges.
ANTENNA Group also provides telecommunication services through its company AUDIOTEX, which has become a pioneer in the field of mobile services.
Along with the electronic media, the Group has also secured a highly successful presence in the printed media through its publishing house DAPHNE COMMUNICATIONS S.A. and the printing company NIKI PUBLISHING. DAPHNE's magazines are extremely popular and are steadily increasing their circulation and attracting new readers.

In the music field, the record company HEAVEN MUSIC has been an important member of the ANTENNA Group since 2001. It holds the first place among Greek independent record companies. Some of the major stars of the Greek music scene belong to its ranks. HEAVEN's share at radio stations air play charts as well as the top 10 charts has significantly increased in the last few years. HEAVEN has also dynamically increased its activities in the foreign repertoire with quite a few major releases, in cooperation with some of the biggest independent record companies in Europe. HEAVEN recently expanded into the broader area of entertainment, with the creation o HEAVEN LIVE. This new enterprise specializes in the production and promotion of big artistic events, such as concerts of world famous artists in Greece, as well as great theatrical and dancing shows.

ANTENNA Group's activities include the nurturing of future media personalities. Since 1991, the ANTENNA OPEN SCHOOL has been developing the skills required in the growing Greek broadcast industry. Many of its graduates are now working in leading media companies. Furthermore, the successful FAME STUDIO, the only school of phonetic arts, lyrics, music production and DJs in Greece, paved new ways for those dreaming to make a career in the music field, giving them the opportunity to study next to well-established professionals.

We should also underline the success and expansion of the companies ANTEL and EPIKINONIA. ANTEL provides wireless transmission services of digital data. It especially provides full wireless stock services in real time, while it has developed an advanced system of tele-education. EPIKINONIA is the main provider of news and other content to dozens of radio stations in the periphery.

On the specialized information field, both in Greece as well as abroad, ANTENNA Group is publishing the quarterly journal "Mediterranean", which records the views of well-known Greek and foreign diplomats and analysts.

Finally, another successful ANTENNA Group activity realized in co-operation with Emporiki Bank, is the credit card ANT1 VISA, which provides its owners with impressive gifts and great sales offers.
